Carpinteria Crafted Excellence | Home Renovation by Fine Craftsmanship Inc.

A whole-home renovation in Carpinteria, finished in August 2025. The owners wanted a California house built from honest materials — timber, stone, plaster — and detailed properly rather than dressed up.

What We Did

The work covered five areas:

- Custom Playroom Cabinetry: A bespoke masterpiece with a completed main frame, primed surfaces, and integrated Murphy bed—designed for practical space use and rustic charm.

- Master Bedroom: Wall patches and textured finishes, enhancing the room’s warm, coastal feel.

- Shed Reimagined: Primed interiors and exteriors, activated electrical outlets and lighting, and a patched wall—ready for your personal touch.

- Outdoor Enhancements: Operational tree and garden electrical outlets, security cameras, perimeter lighting, and a new gated door with lock—blending functionality with natural appeal.

- Attic & Structural Upgrades: Two thermal exhaust fans installed to protect roof integrity, paired with plumbing repairs and ceiling light replacements—durable solutions for lasting comfort.

What Changed Along the Way

Not everything went to plan, and we would rather say so. Shelving and paver installation were cancelled; we added shed insulation, projector outlets and a garbage disposal instead. The job ran two weeks long because of the complexity, and at the owners’ request we paused so a local woodworker could take on the cabinet doors and drawers.

Who Did the Work

The site was led by Deivy Reim. We work in California-style renovation: raw materials, careful finish carpentry, and details that hold up in a coastal climate.
