Ristorante La Ghiacciaia is built from natural materials — stone, timber, glass — with the structure left visible rather than covered over.
The dining room opens directly onto the terrace, so in summer the two work as one space. The textures were chosen to carry the room at low light.
Energy-efficient systems throughout, and materials chosen with the building’s long life in mind.
